Public Health Science (BSc)

About the programme

The Public Health programme at Sahlgrenska Academy is a three-year Bachelor programme corresponding to 180 higher education credits. The programme has got admission once a year with an intake of approximately 18-20 students in each intake. The programme starts once a year in August (autumn).

Courses for Public Health students

The programme is  taught in Swedish. International  exchange students can choose/combine courses below depending on length and needs from the partner university.

Exchange students:
Minimum stay: 2 months
Maximum stay: 12 months

Swedish-speaking exchange students are welcome to apply for any courses within the programme.

Requests from freemovers

Unfortunately, we have no possibility accepting freemover* applicants to our courses.

*A freemover is an international student who applies to a university abroad on his/her own, without beeing part of an exchange programme.
