Professor Christopher Gillberg awarded H.M. The King's Medal

Christopher Gillberg, Professor in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, has been awarded H.M. The King's Medal.

The award ceremony took place at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on Wednesday 28 January. Christopher Gillberg was one of 43 people who received a medal from The King and Queen. Other recipients included former Prime Minister Göran Persson and golfer Annika Sörenstam.

Christopher Gillberg was presented with H.M. The King's Medal 8th size, with the Seraphim Ribbon, for his valuable contributions in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. The medal was received by Christopher Gillberg's wife, Carina Gillberg, as he was unable to attend in Stockholm.
