Sahlgrenska Academy consists of six institutes, two units and a national center. Our 22 research centers are interdisciplinary venues for research, training, the private sector and the general community.
Research: Basic cellular research - what cells consist of, how they work, the ways that they are controlled by genetic material and their interaction with various types of microorganisms.
Education: Biomedical laboratory science, courses as part of the pharmacy, medical and dental programs.
Research: Gynecological and pediatric health, otolaryngological conditions, cancer treatment, urinary tract, prostate and gastrointestinal system. As well as radiation physics, intensive care, biomaterials sciences, surgery and gynecology.
Education: Courses as part of the hospital physics and medical programs.
